Pray for Your Neighbor, Dawn Wigley
Our Pastor has been speaking to us to "GO". Wherever that may be for you. God is showing and speaking to us where to go. We just need to do our part, listen, and obey. Obedience is key. We need to live our life God's way and not our own. The Holy spirit is there to help us. We can always count on him to direct us. We just need ears to hear.
You may be wondering how can we go when all these circumstances are telling us to stay. Well, I myself was asking God what can I do, how can I go show your love, and help the people when we are supposed to be social distancing?
God answered me and showed me what to do, how to do it, and to challenge others to do the same. (Isaiah 61:1-3“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord , And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord , that He may be glorified.”)
So here it is #prayforyourneighbor Challenge (I am challenging every believer)! Have your family (if more than 5 split up into groups) walk around your neighborhood praying over the people. Pray for an awakening! Pray for fear and chaos to leave. Pray for healing and salvation. Pray for whatever God leads you to for all those you pass. God's going to do great things!
Let us pray before we go out.
Father, you are my strength. You are my help. I pray for boldness as we go out into the community to speak truth. Guide us Holy Spirit where to go and what to pray for. Let your words come out of our mouths speaking life and healing. In Jesus name, Amen.
