Awakening Youth Winter Retreat

What? – Set Apart Winter Retreat is a two day retreat for Awakening Youth! This will be a

weekend of fun activities, great food, team building, biblical teaching, worship and prayer! This

year for our winter retreat we are so excited to be welcoming Pastor Mac and Sarah Richardson

from Trinity Church in Lubbock, Texas. Mac and Sarah Richardson are passionate about seeing

this next generation encounter Jesus in a life changing way. Pastor Mac and his wife, Sarah, are

the leaders of the Encounter conference that we attend each summer in Lubbock! We are also

excited to have a very special worship team from Encounter Music joining us as well! Check out

Why? - Winter retreats have always been transformational times for our youth members. This

retreat will be a time where our youth can get away from the distractions of this life and refocus

on Jesus and His call on their lives. I know that the youth will be forever impacted by attending

this year’s retreat!

Where? - The retreat will be at Cook Canyon Camp near Ruidoso. This is a fantastic location

with amazing activities including a ropes course, archery tag, gaga ball, 9 square, a huge rec

room and much more! I know our youth will have a blast with these activities at Cook Canyon.

When? - We will leave early Saturday morning February 11th at 7:30 a.m. and return home

Sunday afternoon on February 12th around 2:30 p.m.

Cost? - The trip will cost $115 a person. You will want to sign up quick! Please bring a deposit of

$30 (or your full amount) by Wednesday, December 14th to hold your spot and to get your

name in the drawing for a $50 Amazon Gift Card and other cool prizes!
